The Boone County Bar Association (BCBA) is a voluntary association of lawyers and judges who practice or reside in Boone County. Dues are $25/year. Membership is approximately 150. The BCBA has its own web site at http://www.bocomobar.org. The BCBA holds monthly membership meetings, usually at noon on the second Wednesday of each month in the basement meeting room of the Boone Tavern, 811 E. Walnut St., Columbia, Missouri. Most of these meetings feature a speaker on a topic of interest to lawyers, and many of them provide continuing legal education credit. Special events each year include:
